Welcome to my lab! I’m Amelia, the Cookie Monster behind Amelia’s Crumbs.

Overcoming allergy restrictions has been challenging, especially when trying to find a tasty treat that won’t trigger an allergy response! Many allergy-friendly options often fall short in flavour and texture, making it hard to enjoy a satisfying treat. However, with a lot of trial and error in the kitchen, I became obsessed with crafting the perfect cookie—one that’s bursting with flavour and will definitely satisfy your craving!

Whisking in my background in fine arts, baking ultimately became my canvas to explore different ingredients. Meticulously testing, and refining recipes to ensure the perfect balance of taste and texture, resulting in cookies that, I must admit, are irresistibly delicious!

As a former gymnast, I channeled my mental toughness into mastering the science of gluten-free baking. With the help of my two lab partners (a.k.a my mixers), Noir and Snow White, we took a deep dive into ingredient substitution, experimenting with flours, binders, and leavening agents.

Each batch is a carefully crafted masterpiece, combining a methodical scientific approach, with artistic flair! What began as a personal journey to create delicious gluten-free treats, has evolved into a dream cookie company where quality and creativity take centre stage.
