I have a food allergy!

Gluten/Wheat Allergy: All of our cookies are gluten free using certified gluten free ingredients. We triple check all labels, and confirm with individual companies when the gluten free marking is not present on the product.

Nut Allergy: While we do offer nut-free flavours, we prepare dough and bake in an area where nuts are present. We are not a nut free kitchen.

Other Food Allergies: Our cookies contain butter and eggs. Due to other added ingredients we use (based on cookie flavour) our cookies may contain soy, peanuts, and other tree nuts.

Do you use dedicated equipment for gluten-free products?
Yes! All of our gluten-free cookies are made using separate, designated equipment — including mixers, trays, spatulas, baking tools, and prep surfaces. While our oven is shared, all gluten-free items are baked on lined, dedicated trays to prevent cross-contact and ensure they remain safely gluten-free.

Disclaimer: Our kitchen is certified and inspected by our local health unit (SMDHU), but we are not a certified gluten free kitchen. Before we prepare our dough or bake our cookies, all surfaces and work areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to prevent cross contamination.

If you or your recipient has a severe allergy, please know that while we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we are not an allergy-free kitchen. Please reach out to us for any questions or concerns regarding this. We take allergies very seriously, and will always be transparent.

How do I place an order, and is there a minimum order amount?

To place an order for cookies, simply start by building your box! Choose from a selection of delicious cookie flavours and pick either 6, 7, or 8 cookies. There is a minimum order amount of 6 cookies.

Please note that only one box can be purchased at a time. If you’d like multiple boxes, you’ll need to place a separate order, OR send us an email at orders@ameliascrumbs.ca and we will provide you with updated cost / shipping rates.

Once your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive an email letting you know the sweet stuff is headed your way, with tracking information included.

Can I mix / match flavours?

Absolutely! You can choose the flavours that tickle your taste-buds.

We do our best to keep our staples stocked. However, we rotate through our flavours based on high demand, classic favourites, new flavours, and seasonal offerings. Stay up to date for new flavour drops and other sweet news on our social pages.

Can I buy your cookies locally?

Yes! You can find our cookies at several amazing local stockists:

How long will my cookies stay fresh?

We highly recommend enjoying your cookies at their peak freshness within the first 3-5 days of receiving them. We encourage you to warm-up your cookies before devouring them, for that perfect ooey-gooey-Instagrammable meltiness. For more information on warm-up instructions visit our cookie care page.

If cookies are kept at room temperature, and sealed in their original packaging, they will stay fresh for up to 7 days after you’ve received them.

Note: Cookies will remain edible past the 7 day mark, but will start to stale as we don’t use preservatives to extend shelf life. If you want to save some cookies for later you can always pop them in the freezer. Visit our cookie care page for freezing instructions.

Can I freeze my cookies?

Yes! Our cookies can be stored in the freezer, in their original packaging (the individual heat-sealed bags) for up to 6 months. For more information about cookie care, please visit our cookie care page.

Do you offer free pickups?

Yes, orders can be picked up at no extra cost. Pick up location is in Tottenham, Ontario. Please send us an email to orders@ameliascrumbs.ca, or contact us through our contact us page, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Can I have the cookies shipped to me?

Absolutely! At the moment, we only ship within Canada. We currently, do not ship internationally, but we hope to expand and share our cookies far and wide soon!

Warm weather shipping warning!

We cannot guarantee the prevention of melting chocolate or softening of other ingredients, no matter the month or current temperature. During the summer months (June, July, August, and September) we encourage you to choose the fastest shipping method to try and avoid any melting mishaps.

Our cookies are shipped without cold packs or any “cooler” type packaging. They are baked fresh, heat sealed individually, carefully placed in a white bakery box, and then secured inside a shipping box.

To ensure the best experience, please note that warmer temperatures may cause the chocolate, butter, or other ingredients to soften, making the cookies slightly gooier than intended. If this occurs, we recommend placing the cookies in the refrigerator for 10 – 30 minutes to allow them to firm up and restore their ideal texture.

How long will it take for my order to arrive once it’s been placed?

Cookies will ship within 2 – 4 days of receiving the order, depending on stock / flavour availability. We restock flavours daily to keep things fresh, and our process involves each batch to rest and chill for 48 hours.

Orders go out Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays). We do not ship on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). If orders are placed between Thursday through Sunday, they will be shipped out on Monday.

Delivery is typically between 1 – 3 business days.

All cookies are baked fresh on the same day they will be shipped out. They’re individually wrapped, and heat sealed, to maintain freshness. Once your order has been shipped you will receive notification that the sweet stuff is headed your way along with a tracking number.

Can I place an order for a corporate or special event?

Absolutely! For large or custom orders send us an email to orders@ameliascrumbs.ca. We love supplying you with the good stuff.

What happens if I made a mistake during the ordering process and the order has gone through?

Don’t panic! It happens. If you’ve made a mistake during the ordering process, contact us through our contact us page, or send us an email to orders@ameliascrumbs.ca. We should be able to make the necessary adjustments to your order within the first few hours before we begin preparing it.

Something happened to my cookies! Do I get a refund or re-delivery?

Stay chill like cookie dough! The unexpected sometimes happens.

If your cookies were eaten by raccoons (or their squirrel friends), unfortunately we do not offer refunds or re-deliveries. Our couriers do their best to deliver the cookies as safely as possible.

To avoid any delivery mishaps or disappearing acts, please check the tracking details the day your order is expected to arrive.

We cannot be held responsible for orders that are delayed, or not delivered because of an incorrect address. Carrier delays are normal, and please make sure that the shipping address is correct before you submit your order.

Due to the perishable nature of our cookies, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If you’ve experienced issues with your order, or your package arrived damaged, please reach out to us at admin@ameliascrumbs.ca and we’ll do everything we can make things right.
